While Bangladesh’s digital economy is expanding rapidly, the sector continues to face multiple challenges, including policy uncertainty, infrastructural constraints, high bandwidth costs, digital inequality, and a lack of accountability in the use of social media platforms. Against this backdrop, the Centre for Governance Studies (CGS) is organizing a discussion titled “Open Forum for Democratic Reconstruction: Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship,” aiming to explore how the digital economy and the entrepreneurial ecosystem can be made more inclusive, equitable, and future-oriented.

The Discussion is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10 AM at the CIRDAP Auditorium (Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific, Chameli House, 17 Topkhana Road, GPO Box 2883, Dhaka1000, Bangladesh).
