On 24 March 2025 in Dhaka, the Centre for Governance Studies (CGS) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Bangladesh jointly hosted a thought-provoking conversation with Professor Jan-Werner Müller, Roger Williams Straus Professor of Social Sciences and Politics at Princeton University, USA. The event brought together a diverse group of academics, policy experts, and civil society representatives including Zillur Rahman, Munira Khan, Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, Parvez Karim Abbasi, Dr. Felix Gerdes, Sanjoy Debnath, Shadhan Kumar Das, Mamun Rashid, Dr. Navine Murshed, Shafqat Munir, and Dr. S. M. Shameem Reza for an engaging dialogue on the intersections of politics, democracy, and social change in contemporary society.
