Apon Zahir is a Research Fellow at the Center for Governance Studies. He has completed his masters in applied statistics and data science. He has multiple years of experience in journalism in Bangladesh, having contributed to several English daily newspapers. His research interests include politics, data-driven journalism, human rights, and the effects of corruption in Bangladesh.
