Ishrat Jahan Shithi is currently working as a Research Assistant at CGS. She has completed her graduation and post-graduation from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. During her student life, she was involved in various extra-curricular activities.

She became a Gold Award winner at the Univ 2nd International Competition for Young Researchers in 2022.

She also got an award for both being a paper presenter and a poster presenter at the East West Economics Research Conclave.

Her research interests are in agricultural economics, applied econometrics, international commerce, and development economics.
